PROJECT MANAGER

Our San Francisco showroom and operational headquarters is currently seeking a high-energy, dynamic design professional to thrive in a fast-paced culture of excellence. Reporting to the COO—and collaborating closely with our technical teams and remote sales representatives—the successful candidate will leverage extensive project management skills to deliver results that continually exceed customer expectations.

Job Description

You will form a cohesive unit with the sales team to direct and streamline every aspect of the process, from business development and analyzing client requests to attending meetings and serving as the primary point of contact for all involved builders, contractors, designers and architects. Other duties include preparation of estimates and quotes and, when projects are won, overseeing execution, including design, production, shipping and post-installation support.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the brand’s kitchen & bath product expert to the global architecture and design community.

Prepare quotes and proposals for the kitchen & bath revenue streams (and other product lines as needed).

Write and drive kitchen & bath specifications, from the architect/designer’s concepts to the contractor’s building process.

Effectively present information for internal and external reporting needs; respond to and resolve inquiries from management and clients.

Procure bids and collaborate with construction-related work crews.

Develop customized, context-sensitive design solutions while adhering to relevant building codes and guidelines; apply problem-solving skills through adaptive design solutions.

Review design drawings, proposals and requests.

Prepare project timelines, implement quality assurance protocols and provide on-site consultations and job inspections.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in various time zones.

Assist with client outreach and setting up internal and external meetings; assist with in-showroom events and other designer/architect presentations for both trade and public audiences.

Expedite orders and finish samples.

About You

3 to 5 years of proven ability working as project manager in the design industry. Experience in custom furniture design, architecture, or bath & kitchen interiors preferred.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in interior design, interior architecture or related professional experience.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to details.

Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive, team player with excellent communication skills.

Positive and upbeat personality.

Proficiency in Excel and AutoCad or similar rendering application; knowledge of CRM platforms.

 

SALES SPECIALIST - INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTANT

Our three showrooms—in SF, LA and NYC—are seeking personable and experienced design professionals to thrive in our fast-paced culture of excellence. Reporting to the COO—and collaborating closely with our technical teams and network of sales reps—successful candidates will draw on their sales know-how to educate potential clients and close deals.

Job Description

Leverage your experience in interiors, passion for high design and solid industry relationships to help grow a brand that is expanding nationally. The ideal candidate will prospect new trade-based business, performing cold sales calls to generate new leads. The role also supports existing clients and conducts product demonstrations both virtually and IRL.

Key Responsibilities

Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business in the trade community.

Conduct outreach opportunities to interior designers, decorators, architects and realtors; promptly respond to inquiries with requested information and keep prospects engaged.

Maintain and effectively demonstrate detailed knowledge of our product lines.

Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas; stay informed of and share out relevant design industry trends.

Cultivate and promote ELEMENTI’s work culture of professionalism and positivity.

About You

Sales professional with 5+ years of high-end furniture experience and solid trade relationships.

5+ years of experience in cold-call sales and strong track record of success; experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.

Awareness of and interest in interior design, home décor, and luxury furniture.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent studies in interior design or interior architecture is preferred but not necessary.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team to meet or exceed goals.

Proactive team player with excellent communication skills.

Positive and upbeat personality.

Proficiency in CRM platforms.
